Have you got a bucket list, mines near complete. Left New Zealand in 87 have had the time of my life in the U.S. Kayaked the Grand Cannon, built a log house now sold and built a new one on our hunting ranch. Have built hot rods since 15 and at 65 cant kick the habit. Just pulled out of the bucket a beautiful 34 5 window coupe for my new ride, will be looking forward to mingle with the rest of you jalopy heads As I still have a lot to learn. I have built a flathead V8 powered 36 fiat Topolino, 1936 ford coupe and helped others with their builds. I am a retired toolmaker with a full workshop and may be able to help you out with that custom part you just can't buy. Was the founder of the Marineland Streetrod and Kustom Klub in Napier NZ. God Bless America.
Welcome aboard Old Kiwi. There's a heap of Kiwi guys on here and even a bunch from Hawkes Bay area. You probably know them. Use to get over to Napier a lot when I lived in PN. Was with Central City Roadsters in the early days. Barry Greer and co.
hey old kiwi, welcome from a current member of marineland, (also former member of Heretaunga if you remember it) this is a great place full of cool cars and great people.
Thanks guys for the welcome, I know a lot of the original hot rodders from Hawke Bay and was in the early Hawks Bay Rod & Custom club when we built Thunder Park. New Barry Greer with his Arden powered flathead Br*** T.
Good to have you on. I've known a few Kiwis that relocated here to TX for the exotic game. I've worked on the helicopters they've used to do captures. If you have a rusty Henry original 34, you'll likely be doing a lot of fabricating for it but that's half the fun of it.
I'm in Napier and hang with some of the Marineland guys. They want me to join, but I'm a bit of a lone wolf. Good to have you on the Hamb.
