I bought some 1/4" ss coil tubing for another project, but it's not going to work for it. Can I use it for my brake lines or is it to big? Should I get 3/16", or is there a better size?

I just used 1/4 for my 40-48 ford brakes. I believe that is the size used on 40-48 fords new.

I am not sure how to flare it, I ***umed it would be the same as any other flare, except with different angle for ss lines.

I have seen some info on them and ss has a different flare so they don't split, if i read them corectly. I am also using 304 aneled ss.
