I bought some 1/4" ss coil tubing for another project, but it's not going to work for it. Can I use it for my brake lines or is it to big? Should I get 3/16", or is there a better size?
I am not sure how to flare it, I ***umed it would be the same as any other flare, except with different angle for ss lines.
I have seen some info on them and ss has a different flare so they don't split, if i read them corectly. I am also using 304 aneled ss.
single flare with 37* AN fittings...they sell tube nuts and sleeves, so only a single flare is necessary. check out Jegs.com, i have found they have a fantastic selection of fittings. I believe 1/4" takes -4an fittings. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/100396/10002/-1 http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/100386/10002/-1
