I think that would fall under the heading of: Bad Guess. First Whippet (replaced the Oakland) was built in 1926 - car in photo is much earlier - teens perhaps.
I don't know what it is but that is a cool photo. I keep staring at it and have a feeling like on the verge of time travel. I've checked out the features of the car, of course, but I think it's the faces and the neighborhood in the background that captures me. I know that sounds weird, huh?
Photo was taken in Moscow, ID (home of University of Idaho). I do not know the people in the picture.

The car is real neat. The cowl lights look similar to an unmarked one I got at an estate sale this fall that I thought it was for a carriage.
Neat picture. I have no idea what it is,but I've noticed,as a lot of you probably have, that the people in these really old photos are almost always dressed to the nines. I guess it because back then only well to do people could afford a car.Maybe they were off to some s****y party and decided to have their picture taken to celebrate. having your picture taken then was no small thing like now. Things sure have changed.
