Greetings! Just joined this morning. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC; transplanted from Pittsburgh in '95. In '05 we purchased a cheep, rough but driveable T-Bucket that I really enjoy (wife, not so much). It is a very traditional 350/350 combo, '40 Ford spring-over front end, buggy-spring rear; old GM pre-64 diff with the drop out cent section. It doesn't get out as much as it should, but the brakes are sketchy and it gets pretty 'cramped' after about a hour; it rides like a Mack truck. Anyway, it was time I join. I stated in my profile that I'm a Christian musician, I'm certainly not here to preach, but I don't know that I quite fit the 'hoodlum' requirement! I also work through the week at a big-box auto parts store servicing local shops and garages; been involved in and/or interested in all things automotive all my life. When I have the cash to act I'll be searching for brake parts and various plumbing/electrical components to improve the Hot Rod. In the mean time; glad to be a part of the lifestyle/hobby. The grandson loves Pappy's Hot Rod. Hopefully my attempt to attach a picture were successful!
