  1. It has been brutally cold up in the High Desert the past few weeks. It has been getting down to the low teens in the morning and "warming" up to the high 30s in the day. I am anxiously looking forward to the upcoming warm weather this weekend. I have some painting to do as well.

GaryB- I guess I shouldn't complain. I'm just spoiled by SoCal weather.

Pat- The drive shaft is a work of art! Thanks again.

Jalopy45- We have to be patient with the younger generation. If I remember correctly,we were there once. I think.:D

Fenders- Let me know if you find the answer to your question. Enjoy the read!

Flat-N-Low- If you paint in that temperature, your paint will by Flat-N-Slow(to dry).

Thank you for your generosity! Pete and I will tip one in your honor when we start ***embling he ch***is. Hmmm maybe when we are done for the day would be a better idea.:)
Mailed out a bunch of shirts yesterday. I hope you all wear them in good health.
Thanks to all of you that have helped and responded with what you did for the project. Now I have one more request that I should have mentioned earlier. Please PM me your size and shipping address so I can get you the right size. I am only making an exact number of limited edition shirts for the guys that helped.
    Thanks,
    Rick

If you look at the last picture posted, you will see why God invented hips and and man invented pockets. Notice that I was the only one not utilizing either!:D

The weather is awesome today. The gun will be squirting. Yippee!

Post # 1568. "like the old days?" really???

Post # 1569. We had our hands in our pockets and on our hips, because

photo taken by an e & b staff photographer.

tio, I'll be at the GNRS on sat 26th, probably all day as I was able to rent a mobility scooter to save some wear and tear on my old hips. I plan on wearing one of my E&B t shirts, look forward to meeting some HAMB members there.

The "Drive in" is a deal at the Grand National Roadster Show where you get to drive your car into the Fair Grounds and park around the outsides of the buildings. It's really neat because you get to go into the buildings about an hour before the general public is allowed in.

Rick I got my shirt Saturday, gotta give you guys MAJOR props on your quality, turnaround, everything involved was way over the top. A t-shirt is a t-shirt to me usually, wear it, work in it, when it's finally too ratty for anything else it goes in the rag bucket. This one will get treated way better, the way wifey wishes I would take care of em all LOL! Top notch shirt, outstanding printing, quick shipping, historic design, it just don't get no better. Yeah, this one will have a special place. (am I really saying that?) She has certain clothes she only lets me wear for certain occasions, I actually volunteered this one for her special care. A daggone t-shirt no less. Even the $50 Rolling Stones shirts didn't get that! I don't see how you could have made any $ on them, and wish I could have done more for the build.

Now, all that hokey stuff said, get back to work and lets see some PICS! Tomorrow is Monday, dontcha' know? :D

  18. Rick-
The weather was outstanding at my place this weekend, and I got my painting done. It was in the mid-60s with no wind, it was perfect.

I'm hoping you got your stuff painted, too!

By the way, are you going to the GNRS this weekend?

    TenneseeZ-
Thanks. Believe it or not people have accused us of doing the car to sell T-shirts. Let's see....how many shirts would we have to sell to pay for the Sedan....only about 10,000.
Plus the time it takes to address them and go to the post office.
I could make more money by begging at the freeway on ramp in Pasadena.

    Hemiman 426-
Not as much as I am!:)

Flat-N-Low- Pete told me I had to much work to do and can't go this weekend. I am in Sedan prison.:D

It's been raining all night and is supposed to rain non-stop through Monday. Not good news for the GNRS.

I am going to use this time to "create" a spacious ***embly environment instead of working in cramped quarters to start the ***embly. I will also be detailing the small parts like steering box and master cylinder and other components that I can spray inside.

***embly should start at the end of this coming week. It all depends on Pete's schedule. I know I can't set it up as well as Pete can so why should I make double the work for him.

****! Had I known everyone else was going, I would have gone. Instead I worked on the sedan all weekend. I guess that was the better choice for me anyway.
