Turbine spray systems

I did a search of this board and found some info about turbine spray systems but not as much as I thought I would. They don't seem that popular. What are their major drawbacks? If I decide to get one should I get a gravity feed or a siphon feed gun? I need it to be portable and I need ease of clean up.... are they any harder to clean? Do they really significantly cut down on overspray? Anything else I should know about them?
