A couple of old photos of a couple of my past projects with 5-spoke Americans. The first is a 1964 Dodge 330 2dr. post, ex-Oregon State Police car, with a 426 Stage III wedge and 4-speed, first photos as my daily driver when I thought road racing was safe, the next when I decided to go drag racing with 5.38 gears, 14.00X32 Drag 500 slicks.

The truck is a 1965 Dodge A100 with a 440 Six-Pack and Torqueflite. When I finished, I went to a set of Cragar S/S wheels for more bling. I sure miss both of those rigs. Seemed like I was always under one of them, fixing or altering something. I did a frame notch on the A100, that was in 1977, worked great.

Thanks for the pics. I've never owned a Mopar for some unknown reason. I'd love to have either of those rides. You have a great eye for getting the right stance.

Just to answer a couple of questions I received:

The police car came with a 383 and a 3-speed on the tree. I swapped in the Stage III engine, came out of a boat that ran 121MPH. I didn't change anything, so it was a bit....unruly, for street driving. But I drove it anyway. You all know why.

The Dodge A100--I built a 2X4 rect. tube frame assembly that I dropped into the original stock frame rails from the top, then removed the sheet metal above the housing for clearance. I used an 8 3/4 rearend from a '66 Dodge car, put it above the springs for a 7" drop. Rebuilt the front springs and removed 2 leafs. Sorry, no photos showing the added frame piece.
