Bought me a 59 f250 a few months back and have been slowly doing some work to it so i figured id start a little project thread on it. In the process o lowering the rear just cant find any used rear shackles because mine are wore out pretty bad. Might end up fabricating some of my own so well see. My goal is to have it semi lowered this summer to be able to pull my jet skis, atvs and all that funn stuff around. Doing the common rear flip and i notched the frame already so heres a few pictures ill update more as i go. Any advice please feel free to give me some input im only 20 i weld a little bit but this is my first project so any pointers will help. thanks.

Cool! What wheels are you planning to run? Chrome steelies or just plain steelies would look pretty sweeet!

I got a quick question i recently installed performance onlines 4.5 in drop mono leaf setup on the front of my 59 f100. Got everything installed and it's resting right on the frame. Im stumped thought about adding one of the old springs to lift it up a few inches but figured id ask someone on here before i did anything. THe new leafs are reversed eyes and re arched as well. I also thought about fipping the mono leafs the opposite way to see if that'll work. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.
