My last vacation in the us was great.
I bought the 59 chevy nomad ...



and now I bought also this 1948 Pontiac ...






This two cars will ship next weeks to europe / austria.

I had a '46 torpedo in the '70s. I love those straight eight Pontiacs.

I'm sure you already know....the Torpedo is about eight inches longer in the front than a standard sedan and the body shell is completely different with a lot more slope.
Beautiful design. the only car..out of about 75...that I've owned over the years that I really wish I had hung onto.

 

Torpedos are cool. Here's one I bought back in the 80's but had too many cars and gave it to a friend. It's now restored and he still has it.

 

The shipping companies are realy good. They help me with all my questions.
