New here found this site when searching about older cars and have found a lot of good info here. I have been working on cars at a body shop for 11 years as body man and painter old cars from the thirties to fifties are not what I'm used to working on since I got a 53 buick special I have my work cut out for me.

Welcome MOOSE72 from Indiana. cars were simpler back then but the metal is thicker than you are used to if you have been working on new cars. Hope you have good luck with your Buick a lot of good info on the HAMB just ask.

Thanks for the reply I guess the old cars can be as simple as you make them to be as far as body work and paint not to bad. I see the work of other people on here and have been amazed of the craftmanship and that has inspired me on this build.i will try to keep the build simple but would like to update things like the suspension maybe a frame swap from g body or camaro subframe don't know yet.
