How in the hell do you find these cars, and the parts.. Amazing collection. They look great unfinished ... The flathead supercharger is something I have always looked for ... We have a junkyard ten mins from my house that not to many people know about and I am fortunate enough to be one of the few that is allowed to see what is behind closed doors in all his building .... Lots and lots of vintage Harley's and Indians , muscle cars and hot rods... But nothing of this caliber and no parts of any rarity .. That's a downfall of eastern United States... Very impressive ! Congrats
Thanks guys was a lucky sob along with help from friends to get this and my 32 body when I did. Well heres next year^ Any progress man? I am moving all the junk from in it and around it so I can see it again does that count? <!-- / message -->
The main thing is you got it and it will be there when you are ready to work on it. It all takes time....
pewsplace well here is a couple with just the top halfass mocked up, old photos though. I still have not touched this roadster due to a few setbacks in life but I will build it! I vision what it will look like just as I did my 3 window, just going to take me longer than the 3 window that took around 3 1/2 years to build, this might be started on now in that length of time since I bought it which is coming up to 2 years now,but I look at it as at least I have it and at some point it will be done the way I vision it, sometimes things come up in life and you change your priorities some and you have to step away for awhile. both my cars are hid away in storage somewhere at this time so there will be no new photos of this anytime soon.
Thanks for the photos and hang in there. Sometimes the best things in life come later. I am 73 and have been through some tough health issues but I finally got my sedan delivery. I am hanging in there for my final car which will be a 34 hiboy roadster like yours. Your efforts are appreciated. Lynn
