Yeah but can they be produced at a profit so as to insure further production and cover development costs;)

In metalshaping tools everyone wants to buy at their price point, and not always a level that supports production costs or improved development:(

The reasons they've sold so many E Wheels and other metalshaping tools at '' Horably Fucked " is people think at those prices they're actually buying useable equipment, when they're really buying raw material made from old Subaru, Datson & Rambler scrap:eek:

Cone boy ,m before you go touting the merits of Baileighs made in the USA plan , first call Shane and ask him where all of the non Yellow machines come from .All the stuff made at Chris Rushs place is very good quality and well designed .

Pardon me, I was unaware of that. My apologies. Where can I find the Rush units you refer to? Thanks

Chris Rush is the owner of RMD the company that makes the Power hammer combo machine that is sold by Baileigh as well as a few other machines such as the bead roller and hyd. shrinker they sell . Wonderfull and well built machines and worthy of anyones dream list . However not so in my oppinion as to alot of the other ones in their lineup.

I have 2 HF plannish hammers on one stand,I use them a lot.I modified them with hard lines and oilers and Hoosier pattern dies, linear stretching die and some plastic upper dies.I got these from Tadd wholesale(they buy damaged/missing items)for 40 bucks for the pair. Here is a pic putting a crown in a 29 trunk skin I made, worked great. If I had the money I would have Clay Cooks 36" Proline, but I dont have 10k +dies. I have less than $250 in my whole deal.

I have used one for about 10 years. This is an excellent machine that you can do a lot on. The shrinking dies work well once you learn to use them, and the flanging dies are awesome. A very versatile machine that is well worth the money!

Got a HF hammer. Yup, had to replace the hammer head after a year or so. Pounds like a champ until all the hoses started to rot out. Next spring I gotta replace the hoses.

Thanks so much! Still haven't bit the bullet on getting one, but now I'll be working on it!
