I'm sure you can put that rig to good use,,I don't know about your area but people here in the Southern States can usually find a ditch to park their cars in. HRP
i just got my pickup stuck in my farmyard and got 4 engine heaters going on the tractor and a battry charger i hope it will start winter sucks especially when it real cold out
We don't tend to have a lot of snow in this area but are plagued with black ice,,even our Northern brothers that move to this area don't seem to have the skills to navigate on ice. HRP
6'' of snow and still coming down the only playing i"m to do is get out the 4 wheeler and plow driveway it"s a snuff for this old fart
Heres how I play in the snow....I shovel a path to my shop and go inside where its warm and play. HATE snow!
We've got enough this week, schools canceled 3 out or 5 days.... if it wasn't snow, it was ice. Guess I'll have to put up with it, no plans on moving. Even if I don't like snow.
The older I get the more I hate snow !! As a kid I loved it...pond hockey, snow mobile then down hill ski nut. I think it's about 7 or 8 yrs. since I've skied. I did get both cars up and running today and took them for short rides...burrr. It was about 25*
I usually don't like the snow but today my coupe saw snow for the first time since she was built. Had to take the pic. Car was built in L.A. and was there until 4 years ago.
I love snow , it's the roads pasted thick with corrosive salt&sand / salt-brine and the brown muck it churns into that I hate and can't see ruining cars I build. ... just got back from the Eastern shore of Lake Ontario experience of Lake Effect snow:... few feet snow then daytime in single digits, squalls and fog - nitetime below zero and blankets of new snow . Hudson Valley's mid-teens and cold sunshine seems balmy. the people are tough, but the cars - not so much, severely rusted cars a few years old and no older trucks along with slip and slide mirror, grill, fascia etc... damage are common. NYS THWY now uses liquid salt-melt. Advantage of working in coldest temps' means every car has air brush pattern of salt spray, trucks indistinguishable pale whitish-green. Clouds of dried salt dust billow on dry spots and it gets in vehicle's nooks and crannys the salt/sand couldn't. Story is it's the liguid waste from N.E. Fracking boom ... have fun\stay warm 8) OT and only a few years old:
39 BELOW I went out for a ride Saturday morning. It was -39 C which is cold any way you look at it. My bone stock heater keeps the cab toasty warm. I also have a block heater on the engine in case I leave her outside overnight.
I just pulled up this old thread about snow, to see what happens I just started a thread SNOW SUCKS, and now it is gone. I guess one of the moderators thought it was too OT to be on here. What I wrong with having a little fun on the HAMB every once in awhile
