New to the HAMB. I've got an original 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4 door. Was my great grandfathers car, been sitting in the barn for the past 20+ years and now it's all mine. Can't wait to get her back on the road. If anybody has any tips, hints, help itd be much appreciated!

  2. Welcome Gonein60, she's a beautiful sedan, try sharing a few more photos (right side up, takes too much time to turn my monitor on it's side).

Haha idk what happened with the picture. I'm a little slow when it comes to technology! The car ran great when it was parked. I put a new battery in it and she cranks and has good compression. Not getting any spark though. Points, plugs and wires will be next.

Thanks guys! I remember playing in the car when I was a little kid, there's a lot of sentimental value. It was also made in and never left my hometown of Evansville,IN. I'm hoping to have her on the road by summer. Ill be sure to keep an up to date build of it on here!

Great car. Welcome from the Netherlands!

  11. Hi. Nice looking Plymouth you have there. Welcome to the HAMB.
I believe yours is designated a Model P20.

I would suppose you will be leaving the car stock and original since it is a
family heirloom. There is another forum called the P15-D24 forum for MoPar
vehicles of the 40s and 50s with flathead sixes. I participate there as well.

Here's a link so you can check it out....if you haven't done so already.
