Going to run these on my Model A, was looking for something that had not been done yet and think I have found my match!

They look kinda small... and square. I think it depends where you are going to mount them. I like Model A rears with a nerf bar or something alittle more custom.

Most people do whatever they want but you asked. I think they are different and a good fit below the trunk. ;)

Ummm... those are front turn signal/running lights. But, maybe you can make red reflective lenses for the rear.

I agree on the clear lenses not looking good. Those look like 70's Chevy pick up parking lites. Maybe with a red lens they'd be fine. Not just a red bulb.

I have a few of those on the front of MR SHORTY. Love your Merc - my Brother had a '55 back in the day, tri-power, panel painted etc...

It's all been done before. Your only option is to come up with new combinations. If you like them, run them.

red bulbs..OK maybe. cant see them in the daylite. someone will run right up your ***!!! but you do know they are illegal. i look at all these little illegal things as one more reason for the law to pull you over, and you have an open beer:(

It's not the color, it's the squareness of them.

Ya gotta make yourself happy but I think these lights look best tucked into the grille of a '48/'53 Chevy pickup.

They're pretty small and the reflectors aren't the best for tail light use...LEDS would help brighten them up but you still have to get past the clear lense, which, on a traditionally styled car will look out of place.

I used '35/'36 pickup lights on my highboy A sedan...mounted on homemade brackets that place them out to the side a little. Small yet sufficiently bright and not a light that is often used on As

  18. I think he is shooting at th euro-light thing.
I guess they are OK depends on how and where they get mounted for sure. I may not go that way but I may not build an A in the near future either.

By the way everything has been done already at least once by someone.

I think the only way it would work is to find some red Lexan and fabricate a new lens,,I can't imagine a red bulb being bright enough during the daylight hours.

I think here are companys that can make a mold of the lense and cast them in red.
I had some park light lense remade a few years ago by a guy in Cal. Found the info in Hemmings MN.
