A friend just pulled out this '55 150 Sedan Delivery from it's 35+ year slumber sans it's original motor, trans and bench seat. Had chrom's all the way around when found but he added the Ralley's to roll her around. He's not an old car guy, just an opportunist, to bad as it would make a great start for someone who wanted to relive the late '50s and '60's!
No G***er and No Wheel Cutouts. The best way to fix it is clean and simple like the 56 Pie Wagon in Hollywood Knights.
Hope you can get it , I love my 56 Delivery . I drive it everyday all over the place. You have to drive them or don't own them...
I never have had a problem with anyone wanting to make some bread on a car .... its the guys that let them rot in place, knowing that someone else would pay a fair price ror it, that piss me off
From what I remember of my dad's 57 sedan delivery in the mid 60's (which was 100% original), they didn't have bench seats but instead had individual front seats. They used the same silver and black upholstery material seen on the bench seats. "sans it's original motor, trans and bench seat. "
They came with a factory drivers bucket (no p***enger) or an "auxillary" bench seat from the factory which is coded on the cowl tag. I have a back seat in mine from a wagon, added by previous owner .... fits right in there.
