Glad to see you're still working on it. Hope Momma didn't get too mad about the plastic in the oven!!

it wasnt bad this stuff gets soft below 300deg and i used a small toaster oven not our big oven. it never gave off a smell either.

Are you going green on the body or the same color as the dash? Any plans on shaving the body or leaving things as is?

this was just the first shot of dtm primer on the roof and dash. gonna throw the windshields in and drive it for a couple months on weekends. the plan is to do pearl white top and something close to seafoam on bottom. im removing all trim and doing a brown stripe that matches the interior in its place. no chop, sorry... this thing wasn't supposed to get very crazy but i couldnt help it on the taillights

Great project, coming along great, love the stance, I've just got a '51 fourdoor too got A lot of work to do before I'm at your stage, would ideally love to airbag the rear of mine and leave the dropped spindles up front. I'm subscribed to this thread for inspiration!!

Just found your build! Coming from a 50 build myself, looking awesome, and I am super envious of your skills! Any updates?

  29. The tailights look great, where did you purchase the lense material?

The material looks like that brittle plastic that's used as a diffuser for commercial fluorescent lighting
