lots of good info in all these 58/59 build threads. keep up the good work.

  3. Been kinda slow on progress lately. My friend had to finish up a 64 F-100 he was working on so we could get the 59 in the shop. Buuuuuuttt.....

Got the floors hand built. Everything is welded up now. Haven't taken a pic yet though...

Got my wheels painted a charcoal grey. Slapped some tires and bullet caps on and did a little test fitting. Threw on a bedside for shits and giggles...

Next on the agenda is taking the cab off to spray the inside and bottom of it and then the air ride install will follow that

  4. I typed that bullshit over two years ago! Ha! What a joke! The hell was I thinking

  5. So instead of that "quick budget build" this mofo has turned into a full blown frame off restoration money pit! Photos from the past year and a half. Tons of rust repair, sand blasting, strippin, etc etc....

  7. And this is where we're at right now. The fun stuff. Blockin, priming, fixing gaps, more blocking and priming, door bottoms, diy one piece windows blah, blah...

Looking great! Thanks for the update. I have considered starting a build thread on a pickup I am starting on but may wait until I make lots of progress so it doesn't look to take as long... ;) I will likely be in the multiple year timeframe as well.
