1940 chevy pickup rear glass???

    I have the glass, gasket and die cast frame but how does it all go together?? anyone have any close up pics of theirs so I can see what goes where?? thanks-

    digging around I found my original gasket that came out of the p/u, turns out the remanned piece is nothing like the original...gonna have to see if I can't modify it to work...

    I got a real one (new made) from Chevs of the 40s last year.
     
  4. usually have to drill screw holes into the repop gasket. no big deal

    thats what I am going to try...did the new one from chevs of the 40's need to have the holes drilled??

    The one i bought from carters had to be drilled.

    yea I bought one from chevsof40s and I had to drill mine as well..:(
