    Hey Guys Got A Que.
Universal Lowering Kits Are Way To Big For My 51 Chevy Truck
    Rear End.
Everything Is Stock, But The U Bolts Are Real Skinny.
Should I Have Some Ubolts Made And Use 2x4 Steel Tubing
    I Heard That Works.
Any Help Would Be Much Appreciated.

if you got a torch you could just heat up the springs a little bit and take some of the arch out of them the big problem with that is getting both sides right. another thing you could try is takeing out a leaf or two and getting your spring rebanded

Your truck has 1-3/4 wide springs right now (at least my '54 3100 does). If you change the "lower shock mounting plate" (Speedway Link) to one with wider spacing (like for 2-1/2 wide springs), you can use whatever blocks you want.
