vent glasses

still working on my 54 f-100, Making good progress.Need some advice on installing vent gl*** into the frames, which is best setting tape or silicone?

 

Welcome THEAD, I don't think you want to use silicone. The tape is what was used. An old gl*** guy told me that the silicone never comes out and you have to break the gl*** into little pieces to clean the frame out if you ever have to replace it again.

I used the Tape went in easy holds tight no complaints from me
and to get it good and tight I used a mallet to help it in Didnt take to much just made sure it was seated good
