    I would guess because it has the stock control arms and knee action shocks, and they handle like a barge in water. A MII with updated arms will make it ride and handle much nicer.

    2 1/2 2 5/8 on the white walls what I ran on my 40 and all my cars just my preference.Nice find love the 40 41 good grille

    That's a great '40 Chevy coupe. Besides the steering wheel, looks like other options on it as well. Is that a Californy plate I see on the back? If you're not up to restoring the steering wheel yourself, here's a couple possible leads: 1) FJ Restoration, 2768 Winding Trail Rd, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494, tel: 715-325-3293. He advertises in the Chevy Cl***ics Club magazine. Satisfaction guaranteed. 2) Frank, tel: 715-325-6015, WI. He advertises in the VCCA magazine. May be the same guy.

    That car is a nice score!! It must have a back seat because the buisiness coupe had the gas tank behind the seat. If you need any trim let me know. I have some extra...
