Made some motor mounts today!!

    Made these for my f1. Have to get some more practice on the welding. Been many moons since doing any type of Fab work. Looking at some of these fella's on Hamb man I might need not to post.. Do you think these will work?? 302 T5 Stock rear Jag front.:eek:

    I'm no structural engineer so I don't know if they will work or not but they look cool.

    they look okay from here, dude.. i've seen some cheesy stuff, that isn't it.

    They look good but I would be happier if the upper support ran all the way out. Just my overkill mentality. Enjoy.

    Yea!! you got a point my buddy down the road said whats up with all the holes?? You are taking away the strength .. I told him you got to have a little bling!! For sure beef is better!!;)

    The holes are not going to affect the strength.

    Ford in a ford it has a nice orginal sound !! Like it was made to run that way.:)

    I would think they would work fine but the design would be stronger if the upper support did run all the way out to the end.

    If it cracks anywhere it will be right at the end of the upper support piece

    Looks good to me to. I like a guy that fabs his own stuff rather running to the store. Anybody can ***emble. This is traditional.

    Thanks.. To me this is what is all about, I like to make my own gear,sure it takes longer and sometimes have to make a few times, to make right,but thats the icing on the cake when it turns out and works!!;)

    Look good to me. If I were doing the job, I would have made the frame mount longer and the engine mount shorter, just MHO.
