Frame Identification / 32- 5 window coupe finds me!

Shame he didn't place the body inside, but at least he placed it up on blocks and it looks to have a roof insert "cover" of sorts to keep the car from filling up with rain/snow.

 

Trust me guys, I could care less about the rain. I dragged a 63 Galaxie home it it yesterday, so loading the 32 would not be a problem at all. He just wanted to wait til it cleared up some and since I am at his mercy, I will wait. But it is VERY hard to.

 

I recognize your at his mercy. But these deals fall flatter than a pancake more often than not. We are just hoping you DO get it before anything else happens.

Hope all goes your way on this deal. That car needs to be saved, and soon! **** I'm glad it's not me from the stand point of waiting, I'd be walking in circles, ringing my hands and telling myself to stay calm.

 

I really hope you get it, still amazed at how many 32's are still out there waiting. Must be off the beaten path to still be there after all these years.

Thanks guys for encouraging words. The owner is actually having a minor surgical procedure Wednesday. His son called me today and said that maybe we can get together Saturday. I worked on my 30 Tudor today, but you all know where my mind was!

Not sure what you mean, but I have a 51 Flathead and a 331 Hemi in my shop. Havent decided which one I will put in the 32 if I land it. What do you guys think?? A SBC wouldnt make the short list of possibilities. Having a salvage business allows me to find some unique stuff. I have a 410 FE, 347 Pontiac, 425 Nailhead and 221 SBF hiding in my old shop.

 

I couldn't eat anything or sleep from the time I found my 32 coupe, until the time I had it in my possession. It is one heck of feeling. Excited and scared at the same time. I would be to paranoid to post up any more information until you get it!

Looks like they were in a hurry to remove that body from the ch***is way back then. Did,nt even bother to take of that right rear fender or rear frame horn cover. Nice find.

 

Atleast it is off the ground, if that baby was just sitting in the weeds, there would not be much bottom left. Good luck!
