East Coast Shows & Drags

Do any of you East Coasters have a particular show or race that is a must see?
I'm trying to lay out my summer run for doing some website promotion.
Wifey, if you see this that's all it is... Lots and lots of work!

Anyway, I have a couple that I already attend, like the Heavy Rebel Weekender and the Charlotte Goodguy's and trade shows. Are there any that you just won't miss for anything?
Unfortunately I had to miss the Race of Gentlemen this past time but will definitely be there this year.

If you already know the dates please post them as well.
Also, a show doesn't have to draw 3,000 cars to be cool in my book.

seems like alot of guys are fired up for the hot rod reunion. it's up here at new england dragway, in epping NH this year.

 

I'll be bold enough to say the Jalopy Showdown in the spring and Jalopyrama in the fall are the two best shows in the mid-atlantic. There's also the Jalopy Drags in the summer and The Rodder's Journal show in the fall are excellent as well. Every weekend has something. Some are just better than others. The Carb Kings' show is also an excellent show.

Jalopyrama MD. cramped but really nice rods
HRW NC great show, 3 stages great music
Hot rod reunion KY. closest thing to the west coast reunion
G***er Reunion Beaver Springs PA. Small track great people

Ralphy, X2 with the shows that Teddy mentioned, along with the Gasket Goons' show in NJ in August. I'd add the Rumblers' NYC show if there was one(?).

 

Jalopy Showdown is a definite. And don't forget the Race of Gentlemen if Mel can pull it off again. Both have plenty of action.

 

Seems to be a lot more going on to the north.
I would have thought the opposite.
