Hello there, I am AJ from Texas, but I'm in Georgia on active duty. While here, I acquired a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 truck that I intend on restoring, complete with the 6V system. Not show quality, just something that I can drive around and hot rod just a little bit. My intent is to put a 1954 Chevy 235 with dual Rochester B carbs (with 58 jets) and frogmouth carb scoops on a Tattersfield intake with fenton headers. The rear end is currently 4.11 and I want to do 3.73 while keeping the 3 speed transmission. I resisted the urge to put a 350 in it with a 400 transmission, but I think making an old school hot rod will be alright. Right now, the only thing that I've done so far is have the new floorpans welded in, preserve the cab and I'm currently working on the frame preservation before I do the disc conversion.
