Forget the office. Check the living room.

  3. I'll remember to check with you before I do anything else! HRP

  4. FYI
Northern Tool sells a similar seat with sliders much cheaper.
They are steel seats with screw on back and bottom.
They are actually Fork Lift Seats.
Have them in my F bomb, no complaints.

    Hey, Grudge;

Another small seat you might consider, are the jump seats in Ford Ranger extended cabs. Hardly ever get used, fold(although differently than "normal"), & come w/seat belts - if you want. The 4dr ones mount differently than the 2dr, but I'd guess same size. Don't know how long they'd be comfortable, as I usually was in the drivers' seat... They're smaller in every way than VW bug seats, etc, so maybe too small. Should be fairly cheap. I'd guess Chevy s10 would have something similar.

    FWIW.

    Marcus..

First generation Mustang seats in my AV8 tudor in the front. Middle seat from a caravan in the back

  9. they might not be easy to find, but you might get lucky, but TR3 or 4 seats would work great.

I'm kind of stubborn, and I like to make things from scratch, so maybe its more screwin' around than you want to do... but you could make a frame, and get some foam and cut it exactly how you want it, and then upholster it and have a completely custom seat. The seats in the picture looked pretty simple and I'm sure you could make something like that for way less than $137

  11. For my modified I cut up a school bus seat. Split the base in two to go around the tunnel & shaped the back to fit. Ive also seen them cut in to buckets

The rear seat from a Volvo or Saab are about the right size and should be easy to find compared to a early Mustang. I was looking for a Saab seat and ended up with a Thames bench for less money.

  14. Folding cushioned boat seats from Walmart, 29.95 each, been using them for 2 years.

I believe I have seen the light, I agree.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions, if anything they help others looking for bucket-style seats, but I think I'm going to try to find a bench seat and have it reupholstered.

Rugged Ridge is widely distributed, even on Amazon?

    or these

I wonder if a future HAMBer will be able to find this thread based on the title when they search seat choices?
