spindle bushing reaming. What size?

    what size do i ream 40 ford spindle bushings to? f

    .001" for every 1" of king pin diameter. I would shoot for between .001" and .002" clearance

    Use a 13/16" reamer. That's .8125. If you can't beg borrow or steal a proper ford kingpin reamer you can use a standard reamer but have to replace the bushings one at a time so you always have one bushing to guide the reamer into the new bushing.
