Hello, I'm new to this game--and this site. Have been fixing up old trucks for a few years now - mostly cosmetic work, now diggin into the engines and learning what I don't know. This looked like a spot with lots of wisdom and experience.

Welcome Ray. I'm running a Jimmy 302 in my '37 hot rod farm truck. Can't help you much on engine work 'tho since I didn't build it. Another HAMBer, "Truckedup", built it.

Thanks Larke, I'm sure somebody out there on a budget has mixed and matched Jimmy blocks and heads, I have read all the articals I can find on the "IDEAL combinations, but no info on the specific combination I have.
The good news about your 302 is that it's appreciating !!

Welcome from the land of fruits and nuts. My company's headquarters off Federal Way in Tacoma. I enjoyed my time there. Just an FYI - if you ask for an opinion here you're likely to get everything fom A-Z and then some. Have fun!
