my dads 54 we finished this summer.

 

Love the colour, you got a paint code for that please ? want to do some green flames on mine once she is done white and thats a nice shade of green

 

Ours got finished & I drove it home, and even got a speding ticket on the way. Its in my "daily driver" fleet of two - the truck or my wifes Fiat Topolino, and now Im trying to figure upholstery as I spent the upholstery money on another steel bodied tho rusty Topolino

This is my daily driver...for 2 years now. I still haven't decided if I should paint it or not. I would like to see it all one color but everybody says leave it alone it has personality like it is

I didn't mean it in a rat rod kinda way. I work in a body shop doin restorations and I always see people put a ton o money in their stuff and never drive em. It's jus nice havin somethin u can use and drive anywhere without havin t worry about leavin it in a parkin lot or raisin Hell in it sometimes without havin t worry bout keepin it spotless or worryin bout somebody touchin it or scratching it

I think what I'm Tryin t say is I don't wanna do a show car job on it for a driver but I don't wanna do a half ass job and have people pick tha shit out of it thinkin I don't do quality work. Maybe a primered beater is more tha look I'm goin for... For what I use it for anyways

Listen man, here's the deal: There was a post in between my post, and yours. It was made by Mr "Hotrod Ratrod". His post is what mine was referencing. When he so wisely deleted his post, it put my post directly under yours. Nothing in my post was meant towards you in ANY way shape or form. My words were meant to guide "Hotrod Ratrod" in to actually reading a bit about this forum, and it's contents before he just jumped in talking about red wheeled S10 frame swapped "r*t r*d" Chevy pickups. I've since better expressed these things to him in a private message.

If Mr "Hotrod Ratrod" further wishes to pursue the issue, I invite him to express his love for red wheels, S10 frame swaps, and r*t r*ds when he does a proper intro, as per the site rules he was so adamant he read.

Again Gearhead, no disrespect was meant towards you. I quite like your truck, and the direction you are taking.

Here's my dog in the fight. I had seen the "deleted post" from Hot Rat and Bodi, although a tiny bit harsh, was correct in his direction. If the delete button became an aliance member only feature, it would all make sense.

 

Message received, I often come across that way. The chuckling tone in my head while writing these things doesn't convey in type, and that's on me to remember. Thank you for reminding me of that, and helping clarify.
