Lots of nice stuff as always.

I'm gonna post pics of my ongoing bathroom accessory projects. I showed the sides of the toilet brush can a couple weeks back. Finally got the shift handle on it today so I'll show you the lid. Also, my soap dispenser. Both with weird laundry room lighting!

Thanks Pat.That panel is now in the collection of
    NJ sign painter Bill Rydell.

Bill is approaching 80 years young, and you won't
find anyone better at Gold Leaf and hand lettering.

I feel honored that someone of his caliber likes my work.

Good stuff again this week. It's nice to see different people doing different things, keeps the rest of us on our toes.

I have the final pictures of last weeks unfinished Desk Top Art Work. This one is my version of Roger's 40 Stude. The stude is Desk Top Art Work #50.

Also have a finished version of a late 60s-early 70s dirt track modified and another dirt track modified not quite done. Both dirt track cars have a removable body so the detailed frame is visable. The unfinished one still needs the headers and I still have to build the body. These two Art Works were ordered by the same guy. They are # 51 and # 52 Gene

Janne,Janne,Janne...this is the most quintessential '52-'54 Ford ever. There's absolutely no way to improve it,okay, maybe some late 40's Buick side trim and a little curve on the C-pillar...your work is absolutely awesome and your drawings perfectly match my idea of a good looking Custom.I'm stunned,I love that car...less is definitely more...

  19. Cool! I dig asymetrical stuff! I wanted to paint the van with flames on one side and scallops on the other, but use the same color combo on both sides, but I sold it before that could happen....Caffeine you listening? :D

    Hey Gabo,

We really dig your stuff! You have a very distinctive style. We hope to see more in the future.

We haven't posted in a while due to art overload and the book deadline... But here are a couple of odds & ends:

A couple of our airbrushed t-shirts hanging out at Woodies on the Wharf, Santa Cruz - June 2005... Newt is one of our idols & we really enjoy riffing on his Roth Studios designs.

Here's the unprimed prototype for a custom bass head we just wrapped up for King Doublebass in SoCal...

We did most of it in red polyclay so we could get an idea of how it might look after they painted it, which might be an entire red metalflake job over the whole instrument.
We are also very proud to be involved in creating works of art that will be painted and pinstriped by a master,Dave Whittle, who we hope to meet someday.....

At this stage, there was still a lot of sanding and markings visible on the prototype.

    Here's an oldie but goodie...

This is an example of some of our earlier work... The originals were often done and printed the cheapest way possible (black & white Xerox)... It's always exciting for me to see this old stuff dusted off and polished when Kali adds digital color and touches up all of the rips and tears that are on the surviving images.

It's cool to relive this artwork again, but I feel old when it comes time to add the copyright date... notice this poster is 20 YEARS OLD!!

    We hope you enjoy this...

I LOVE old punk flyers! Got any more to share?
That Faction one sure would look good in the garage. Makes me feel old, though!
