Does anyone have pics of mcphails old galaxy?

I'm looking for some pics of mcphails old redish looking galaxy. He sold it awhile back to someone but I don't remember who.

I remeber it sitting real low and having scollops all over it and possibly some striping and or lettering on the back I can't remember its been to long ago since I have seen it.

I believe the car was around a 63 or so?

Or any pictures of any cool early 60's fords with flake or panel paint jobs. anything from mild to wild.

I saw it last week. Its bare metal now.

 

mistermuscles thats not the one I was looking for this one was a later model than that. I wish I could find my pics of it at the monkey Island show several years ago.

 

Are you talking about that astro/skinnies shod, red with white roof and "sclames" Galaxy (63?) or that Titus chopped, smoothies/blackwall shod, "sclamed" Mercury Marauder (64?)he had? I used to drool over the little pic of it in Custom Rodder around the mid 90s or so. That car just said "midwest" all over it! I'd love to see pics of that car...

I also read and re-read the article on the build up of his 52 before his maiden voyage to Paso until the pages fell outta the mag.

 

I would like to see both cars.

 

Yes scrub the 63 galaxy with the red body and white roof is the one I'm looking for pics of. I want a set of astro's and skinny whites for my wifes car, Or for my 60 chevy.

Yes that was the car I was looking for destructo thanks. You don't have a good shot of the rear of the car do you? I checked out the pics on the main site but the pic of the rear of that car isn't very good to tell what the details of the paint are. That was on the denison 99 shots.

Here's some , and I will see if I can find some of the rear. The car is now in bare metal undergoing a rebuild , It will look totally different this build . shinny paint ,interior ,new chrome and weatherstriping.

Heres a photo of McPhails Merc Marauder as it appeared in 1996.
Anyone remember him driving a greenish 50 Buick to the Hangin' Dice
several years later? Was that his car or someone that ran with him?

 

Here is the Buick I was talking about, ok it could be a '52, photographed it
in 1999 because the flames had the McPhail feel to them, so I figured he
either worked on the car or it was his.

The one McPhail car that I really went gah gah over was his white Chevy
Business coupe as seen in this photo from 1998

The buick I believe is Voodoo Jims from around witchita, and the white chevy is the same chevy mcphail still owns. But now its chopped with shiney purple paint.

I heard on here that he sold it to someone in Cal.and is working on a 56 Chevy now.I'd like to see progress on the 56.
