Frank,I'm getting to the age where it is harder to wad up in a ball and drive the pickup long distances like I have in the past,,I'm thinking the long distance Deuce Run is a thing of the past in my pickup..but I'm looking forward to the run in the sedan with room to stretch my legs. HRP

I hear ya on the no comfort in long distance rides . I have wondered how a few inches on the 33 34 firewall can help. Mines a 34 and looking to build the 32 cab someday or am I just asking for more discomfort:D.

John, the last Deuce Run we left the house at 5 AM drove almost 600 miles and got home shortly before 12 midnight,,I was a hurting frog,,I'm 6'4" and got a bad leg that I need to stretch every now and then.

A few hours is no biggie but I have other cars to drive so the long distance stuff is limited now. :DHRP

Nice looking bunch of trucks. The best looking style in my opinion. But I opted to build up a 34 because I just like the slanted back radiator a bit more.

Danny, I got side tracked! I haven't touched the truck since I got the coupe home. I did buy a 3 deuces setup for the engine but haven't done anything to it in a couple of months.
Once I could work on these things til midnight every night but the last few years I am lucky to get 4 or 5 hours a day on one before I tire out. This getting old **** ****s.

Harry, Steve talked to WDO40 about his pickup and is real taken with the color,,and who wouldn't be? and he gave Steve the color code so I'm thinking this is gonna be it.

    WDO40's beautiful pickup,,HRP

Update,,,Steve decided on a totally different color from what he originally wanted and the frame was painted last week.

The frame and running gear was ***embled today and while Steve was on his way home a kid driving at a high rate of speed and texting lost control of his ford truck and ran off the road, over corrected and crossed back into Steve's lane and hit him in the drivers door,,Steve lost control and hit a gas pipe line meter in a front yard and clipped it and crashed into a tree.

Steve went to the hospital and fortunately he is just banged up and sore but nothing is broken,,he was at the club meeting tonight and moving a little slow.

He told me this is the first time he has ever been in a accident,,he was lucky.

Good to hear. At least he's doin ok. The truck can wait. Like the color on the frame. Looks like the original tan from the 30's.
