motor mount question

Hi i am putting a 383 chev in my 49 merc. I am looking for the spacing between the motor mount bolts. thanks bill

16-1/2" should work fine...that's what i go for

the instructions that come with Pete & Jake's frame brackets says 16-5/16 to 16-11/16

FYI, the rubber mounts have a slot in them
