Hello all. Im looking for a 59 Elky, prefably in Central Texas. Im looking for one with a 250 and 3 on the tree. Body condition really makes no difference, of course itd be nice if it werent a bucket, but I understand there will be some body work to be done. Price ranges form "get it out of my yard"- $1000. Thanks guys.

    $0 - $1000, Good Luck!

I would say $1000 should be your startin' point.
Unless you have REALLY good hands/fabrication skills.

As far as the ugly comment,
I know you were just playin' round (I mean c'mon you wanna buy one)
but you gotta learn to phrase your "jokes" a little better.

I think the '59 Hell camino is the cats ass.

You might want to do a little more research on 'em too.
    Sellers love an uninformed buyer.;)

Remember, a car is just a car and a truck is just a truck,
but an el camino is a way of life.:D

I was just about to say that.

We're building a '59 Elk for a customer. He had to have it shipped from some other state, and he paid alot of money for a car that is getting a full body off resto/custom job.

'59's are like gold for some reason. Just like duece coupes and mercurys...everyone wants them...and they're willing to pay big bucks for them.

Try finding a '60. They look cool, easier to find, and cheaper.

I should have used the classifieds for this one and furthermore explained that i love 59s(and me jokeingly calling them ugly). Aidos.

  16. With the open windows and the abundance of plant life around it, looks like you'll have the top half of an ekly. Good luck with the new project and floor replacement. I hate rust.
