Stupid question here but does anyone know if they make short spark plug for a chevy 350 small block? I have one that fits so tight against the steering box than in order to pull it I have to lift the engine. I found one from speedway from accell but really want one that I can get off the shelf at the parts store. Any Ideas fellas?

    These #'s came off line

Accell #8199 #8197and NGK 2771 plugs are said to be 1/4" shorter than AC Delco R44T.

Bosch makes platinum short plugs. GOOGLE short SBC spark plugs.

I've got E-tec heads so I use Champion / NGK small engine plugs (Lawn Mower).

I know the local O'reilly's sells the short Accel plugs and I think Autozone does as well. Years ago I had a '40 Chevy coupe with the same problem and I used a chain saw plug in #5 cylinder.

Bosch plugs ended up being almost a half inch shorter than the delco ones. Perfect fit
