The Metro is basically done other than fitting some windows, already have templates made for them. This was my first time trying to weather a model.

Thanks guys for the comments, the Metro is a Jimmy Flintstone product.I made it curbside, meaning no engine, drivetrain,or interior parts. All you get is the body,interior/bed tub, grille and front/rear bumpers.I see I mis-spoke about how many times I've weathered a model after seeing the Ford pick-up in the background of one of the pics, but that is mild compared to the ones I have shown.

Whew! back from T & T at the track....Not too late??

Hey George I now know of TWO Chevy Malibu wagon kits missing the shop ramps......yours and mine:rolleyes:

The Ford panel is right out of the box 'cept for the push bumper

The 33 is an old Ohio George kit stripped for it's Cammer, hence the Hemi.

The 40's coupe is an old S-W-C kit with now a blown 409 and the pickup is the Revell re-issue that was so many parts in a Baggie. Had to scratch the bed, now has a s/b Chevy. Still have some work to do to finish both.

I might be out of pocket for a while. Racing season is about to launch and the next group of models approaching completion are too new (70's NASCAR)

    But I love checking in!

  12. This has to be one of the best Sunday Models in a long time! Some very nice work, I love the Yellow T, I think I saw the same article on building wheels and have always wanted to try them.........one day!
30Ford, some serious work in many of those 49 Fords! Did you do the section? That silver one has a fantastic finish, you could p*** that off as polished metal!

Undergroundss, The Parts Box http://www.thepartsbox.com/ sells everything you need. Good quality parts, from Down Under!

  19. The banger group starts a new thread every month. They leave a clickable link on the last month that will direct people to the new thread. This allows people that wanted notification to find the new thread easily. This is just a thought.
