We have a 1959 El Camino and it was in very rough shape when purchased. Now it's time for picking out interior colors. We want it to be orginal to that era. But we can't find anything helpful for color names/used during that time. The car exterior was light blue with lots of rust. But, is the interoir considered "Aqua" or " Light/Medium Blue"?? Does any one know what the main colors were used back in 1959? Thanks

Chevrolet used cloth and crush grain vinyl for the El Camino in 59. You had 2 blue-ish interior choices which were light blue and turquoise (color swatch codes 841 & 852)

  4. READ the 'STICKY" at the top of this page...INTRODUCE YOURSELF per HAMB protocol...The main board is where you post questions,,not here in the Intro pages

  5. Macaso, how 'bout an introduction...tell us a little about yourself, how you got into the hobby and your projects. How did you get the '59?
