I have the cheap (no push ****ons) radio. There are two prongs, one vertical, one horizontal on the driver's side of the radio that I believe are for power. Is that correct, are they both supposed to be hot, or is one a ground, and/or are they both hot all the time, or just when the ignition is on?
Also, how/can I use the one speaker wire coming off of the radio with a modern speaker, which requires two wires?
    Thanks, HAMB

If it's wired stock, one is ground (black) and one is hot (red) when ignition is on. You can remove metal cover off the top and trace to see which is hot. One to tubes is the hot and second will trace to ground. Not sure about the speakers. But, radio speaker wire should go to "plus" and second to ground?
