Will a 1969 250 inline 6 bolt up to a 62 comet auto trans?

 

I dont think so,you would be better off with a C-4 then with the 62 trans

 

Not positive, but I think the starter is in the wrong place.

 

What junkyardjeff said. The 250 has the same bell housing pattern as a sbf. So get the c-4 with it and ditch the two-tone drive slushbox.

 

If i use a c4 can i use the stock drive shaft?

 

I'm not sure on the Comet, but years ago when I did my Ford-O to C/4 I know I didn't have to shorten the driveshaft. Should be the same with the Comet.
