Hello, My name is Brandon! I'm a 21 year old with a 1962 ford Econoline that I'm working on rebuilding and eventually modding. For the time being my main focus is restoring it to get it registered and street legal, then I will focus on lowering it along with some other customizations! I'm very new to the mechanical scene and I have much to learn. So any advice/help will be greatly accepted! Thanks -Brandon
Greetings, I had a 65 Falcon Econoline years ago, they are easy to work on & many Ford parts will interchange. There is an Econoline thread on the HAMB that will give you a lot of insperation.
Hey Yo Brandon..I am a econoline dude too.I'm 60 and have a pickup and a supervan. good news + Bad news for you..you have chosen a vechicle that is dependable and once you get it running good you will be able to count on it.Bad news they crushed most of them so parts are tough to get and find and pricey too. Good luck I get compliments every time i take mine out..it's weird women that you would never even think would notice tell me that they love my truck! Econolines are the coolest FORDS ever made. I'm really a chevy guy but i love my econolines!
Hello, I am like Hank, I am a Chevy guy also but I picked up two rusty Econoline pickups for a thousand bucks and will make one out of the two. I am 65 and retired so I have lots of time to work on my project. I am going to paint it Viper red, chrome wheels and wide whites. Good that you are 21. This will be a good project for you. If you need advice , just ask.
Welcome Brandon... Old Econolines made really cool custom vans back in the day ... of course they weren't that old back then!!! Great choice.
