I've joined as a new member in the aid of my current restoration project, a 1948 Ford Panel truck which I bought out in Montana. It originally came from Los Angeles California. It was originally purchased by the owner of a dress shop and later used as work truck for a house painter. It arrived in Montana in 1961 as a trade for a 1953 Chevy. Having no heater, defroster, or turn signals (all optional equipment back then) it was used as a shed after the first season for the next twenty years. I bought the truck in 1981 for $300 and drove it back to the east coast in 1982. The engine was rebuilt in 1989 and bodywork started soon after. Now, twenty four years later, I'm still at it.
