We've decided to offer up one of these to benefit the board... There is some background concerning the art mentioned in this week's art show post. Basically, this was a show flyer from 1985... the art was originally black & white, Kali got rid of all the wrinkles, tears, and stains and gave it this beautiful color job... Poster is 11"x17" on 100lb. glossy poster stock.

As many of you may already know, the HAMB's own Coupe-de-Cab (Steve Caballero) was in The Faction and Bark Hard consisted of noted Texas skaters John "Tex" Gibson, Todd Prince, and friends.

Usual auction rules apply... Once we get word payment has been received by Ryan, we'll ship the item to you.

We would like to run this auction until Saturday, Oct. 1st at 9pm Central.

There is a possibility if the bidding is generous we may add to the pot.

Thanks for your interest & for supporting this forum...

    Regards,
    Johnny Ace & Kali

I like those types of stories...that was what "punk art" was about really- to me ,anyway.....
    Art good enough to steal...
Some of you Austin guys might recognize a few names from the past like Criminal Crew and others....

My 1986 Samhain & Contortion Session poster was for a show that coincided with an NSA event,I think...nearly every name in skating was there that night.....

Lettering was fun because it all had to be done by hand...no House Industries in those days.....

    Wow...
I went to a ton of Bark Hard shows around that time...
The smell of piss and Clove cigarettes...aah, those were the days!
My buds were in Lethal Injection.
My girlfriend at the time had a pet rat...
    Damn, I'm old.
