im looking for a ahooga or ooga horn. the one i got is a cheap one and it sounds like ****. i know some of them go for 1-400$ im not wanting to spend that much. does anybody no where i can get one that sound almost original as the model a's and t's
Try dropping the voltage to your cheap one . Either run it through a dash/gauge volt drop, or go to the s**** yard and get the instrument light dimmer out of a late model piece of **** - this way you can adjust it . Just mount the dimmer up behind the dash or somewhere else out of sight . .
will depend on what piece of cheap junk you have I guess . I've done a couple of the little red no -name made below the great wall ones and while ti won't make them sound spot on it does help . .
Jeez you must be kidding. JC Whitney used to sell them for $6.95. Choice of 6 or 12 volt, chrome plated to boot. Guess that was a long time ago.
Here's one for $41.88 which I suppose is the 2013 equivalent of $6.95. You guys had me going for a minute. http://www.amazon.com/***URED-PERFORMANCE-Electric-Antique-Replica/dp/B002P6HJWO
Try Harbor Freght, they are cheap, but it doesn't hurt so bad if ya have to replace it ,or get rid of it !
