Just ****ing around with Google Earth, and found the actual building Barris startet out in in Lynwood (11054 Atlantic avenue). Barris' second shop was in 7674 Compton Avenue. I think I found the Bellflower Clock too (where Bellflower Avenue cross the Flora Vista str.?). I have never been in LA mind you. Has anyone found other cool stuff?
I was using it at work the other day, typed in Cyclone Racing equipment, and it showed me where Cook's Machine Works was, and the cyclone web address too!!! ****** amazing!!!

Found å couple of neat locations from movies I dig as well: Piz Gloria, -the revolving restaurant on the mountaintop outside Bern in Switzerland from "In her Majestys secret Service". Ritas path down from Mullholland Drive to Sunset Bvd from "Mulholland Drive". Gotta find that downfill from "Bullitt" where the black Charger looses 7 hubcaps... But thats all o/t. How about Winfields shop in the dessert? Whats the location?
Try 8201 Sierra Highway,Mojave,CA 93501 and dial (661)824-4728 and tell him you observe him... 7256 Eton Street,Canoga Park,CA 91303 to take a look at his old shop, phone #(818)883-2611,if he picks up the phone there too, welcome to the twilight zone...
Down the road from me here in the valley, there's a Barris museum on Riverside drive...kinda kool for the Kustom Kulture Kats
Thanks Frenz, -thats what Im talking about. I have btw. observed your great knowledge in kustoms and their history from the sideline for a good while. Impressive! I havent been that active on the hamb for the last few years, but those who remember me will know that we have a mutual interest there. Now here is a challenge; how about Bill Cushenberrys shop in this pictures?
Nobody has mentioned Bonneville yet, you people disappoint me. I don't see any hotrods or 'liners out on the flats, I'll have to send Google an email...
And what about Muroc,El Mirage and Harper Dry Lake just to name a few... This is really crazy...you even can see the Moon Eyes painted on the driveway at Moon in Santa Fe Springs.
