Hey, guys and gals... Just checking in, been around for a long time just got around to joining. Lots of good info and folks here. I'm in the great state of Texas. I am retiring from the USMC in July. I've got a 54 Chevy truck ive had for a while its my daily driver, my buddy Nathan Hale in lewisville has done a lion share of the work on for me. (Ls1, 4l60e, airride, vintage air, painted in 59) just got the upholstery re done two weeks ago. Ill be driving it to the round up. I've got two projects a 54 bel air 2door post that I took down to bare metal that should go into paint in the next few weeks and a 66 swb Chevy that is in many many many pieces. It'll only let me put one pick up but I will post another with the projects.
Hi B.U.F do you have any more pics of you 54 with the LS1. I have a 49 Chevy deluxe Im putting that same set up in Ls1, 4l60e, vintage air I plan to drive it UP and Down CA this summer to get pic of it at different landmarks here.
Yeah, I'll try to post an album... You'll love the swap. I put about 12-1500 miles a month on it. Starts first time has 500+ horse and gets around 20 mpg.

Thanks again for the welcome, added some new pics to the album, got the new silver towns on today may not look as good as the bias ply but the ride is awesome. Just did a highway run at 90 smooth as glass....
