Me and the old lady drove our flathead equipped '34 coupe 90 miles to Shreveport, La only to find the show had been cancelled. I'm guessing it was cancelled cause nobody was there sat morn. The Flying Eyeball web site has said nothing about the show not being held. Does anyone know if it has been rescheduled? We were really looking foreward to a traditional hot rod show in our area!
The BAYOU EYEBALL was cancled becuse the financial backers for the poor woman who spent over a year hooking the Rock-a-billy weekender and Bayou Eyeball up, pulled the rug out from under her and fessed up to the fact that they really didnt have any show dough. Scammed again! Unfortunately the Flying Eyeballs web guy hasn't made any updates in awhile... But just about everybody esle (including the H.A.M.B. had posted it as cancled) Don't know if it'll be rescheduled, but you could try and e-mail the Wizzard, maybe he knows more?!
Maud, I don't know about the show, but next time you're in Shreveport look me up and I'll treat ya to some good old fashion cajun cuisine. Doc.
