looking for good choice for coilovers. never dealt with them before and all the ones I see are $300-400 and I don't know if those are the ones I need. I'm building a 39 international bobber truck. I will be starting a build thread when I get it going.
Yep I agree QA-1 with the solid aluminum body. Stay away from the metal tube style like carerra with the welded eyelet on top an bottom. I had one of the eyelets break off just as we were putting the car on the trailor and set the tire up high into the wheel well. It could have been worse if we were driving.
Check out our new double adjustable coil overs at Flaming River. Have several features added that the other brands don't, and made in the USA.
Check out JRi Shocks (http://www.jrishocks.com/products/index.cfm?cat_id=29), we have been using them on our builds exclusively for a couple years now with great success. Every shock comes with its own dyno sheet (yes, they can dyno shocks) and is calibrated to your car. Theres a reason they are the now the upgrades shocks for detroit speed, art morrison, and many nascar, nhra, and sprint car teams.
