Projects 1958 edsel vin decode

I got my self an 1958 edsel ranger ive bin looking online for info and i cant seem to fine info on the vin does anyone know how to figure out how to decode it?

1st symbol = Engine; W = 361, X= 410
2nd symbol = year; 8 =1958
3rd symbol = ***embly plant; R = San Jose CA (many others, post if yours is different)
4th symbol = Body Style; C = Ranger/Pacer 2d sd, F = 4dr; G = 2dr ht; H = 4d ht
Remaining symbols are sequential production number. I left out data not pertaining to Rangers.

This book has some info to decode the remainder of the plate; original color, build month/year; trans; and gear ratio.
