Cool Crossram Scoop...Homemade or Something You Could Buy?

Bought a Edelbrock XC-96 big block Chevy 2x4 crossram and it came with two scoops...the one shown and another one which is almost exactly the same except it wasnt as tall...looks a little well built to be home made...do any of you guys recall ever seeing something like this for sale commercially?

 

I've been hotrodding almost 50 years and I this is the first one I've ever seen.

 

I had never seen one either...but every once in a while I see something new...what makes me think it was something you could buy is that there were two of them...and they were identical other than the height (or size of the mouth/opening in the front)

 

I also have to say that it looked absolutely bad*** on the crossram...its about as wide as the crossram is...

 

super cool, needs an M/T crossrammed FE under it
